How does Conference Concierge work?
Conference Concierge allows staff working for companies that use Carlson Wagonlit Travel (CWT) as their travel agent to book conference tickets through their local Meetings & Events team. A simple
e-mail or telephone call will be enough to book any conference worldwide. Flights and hotel can be booked at the same time and confirmation will be given within 2 working days. Payment takes place via the regular CWT channels the traveller is already using.
Why should I be interested?
Currently, many conferences are booked by sending a fax or by booking online with a credit card. The new service is more secure and saves time as everything (conference ticket, hotel, flight) can be done in one go through a CWT Meetings & Events agent. On top of this, you may benefit from Conference Bay’s expertise in obtaining conference tickets at discounted prices. Upon booking, you may name a maximum price you are willing to pay for a conference ticket.
Conference Concierge also provides you with a global overview of conferences that you may not be aware of. You can search by
Topic and by
Location.
Is this service available globally?
Conference Concierge is currently being rolled out in Asia Pacific but we intend to make it available to all Carlson Wagonlit Travel clients globally very soon.
