Description
The 2007 conference was a huge success as it focused on competitiveness within Europe. This year’s conference will go one step further by expanding the theme to include the entire globe.

Competition is fierce in providing attractive tax rates with the UK’s competitiveness highlighted by the recent reduction in the main corporate tax to 28 per cent. This will be the lowest rate among G7 countries with the aim of luring more investment.

However, there have also been negative comments regarding the UK tax system, with criticism that it does not help British businesses.

As such, trying to say what the future holds is a difficult task. But this conference will have the top minds in the industry doing just that and help chart the way forward for UK tax.
