• This Privacy Policy covers our treatment of personally identifiable information that we collect when you are on the ConferenceBay site, and when you use our services. This policy also covers our treatment of any personally identifiable information that our business partners share with us.

Information Collection and Use

• We collect personally identifiable information when you register with ConferenceBay, when you use certain ConferenceBay products or services and when you visit ConferenceBay pages. We may also receive personally identifiable information from our business partners.
• When you register with us, we ask for your name, email address, telephone number , job title, name of your organisation and industry. When you make a bid for a conference we will also ask for financial information such as credit card number and expiration date (we will not do this ourselves but a third party, do we need to mention this?).
• We also automatically receive and record information on our server logs from your browser including your IP address, cookie information and the page you requested. We use information for four general purposes: for billing purposes , to customise the content you see, to fulfill your requests for certain products and services, and to contact you about a cancellation of a conferences you made a bid for.

Information Sharing and Disclosure

• We will not sell or rent your personally identifiable information to anyone.
• When you make a bid for a conference, the only information we will share with the conference organiser is your job title, type of industry and work country. Only after accepting your bid will we share your name and e-mail details with the organiser to facilitate the registration process.
• We will send personally identifiable information about you to other companies or people when:
• We have your consent to share the information;
• We need to share your information to provide the product or service you have requested;
• We need to send the information to companies who work on behalf of us to provide a product or service to you. (Unless we tell you differently, these companies do not have any right to use the personally identifiable information we provide to them beyond what is necessary to assist us.);
• We respond to subpoenas, court orders or legal process; or
• We find that your actions on our web sites violate the ConferenceBay terms and conditions or any of our usage guidelines for specific products or services.

Tell a friend.

• If you choose to use our referral service to tell a friend about our site, we will ask you for your friend’s name and email address. We will automatically send your friend a one-time email inviting him or her to visit the site. ConferenceBay stores this information for the sole purpose of sending this one-time email [and tracking the success of our referral program].

Newsletters. If you wish to subscribe to our newsletter(s), we will use your name and email address to send the newsletter to you. Out of respect for your privacy, we provide you a way to unsubscribe. Please see the “Choice and Opt-out” section.

• We give you the ability to edit your ConferenceBay account Information and preferences at any time, including whether you want us to contact you about specials and new products.
• You may request deletion of your ConferenceBay account by visiting our Account Deletion page, verifying your password once more and confirming your choice to terminate the account.
